„MARTINÉ... or how life taught me there´s no happy ending.“

Thomas MARTINÉ’s first steps in music using all analogue equipment were made as part of Aachen, Germany, based electro combo DER ERFOLG. Thomas was then a member of dark electro/synth pop duo SILENT INVASION who released several cassettes between 1988 and 1990 and one CD in 1991 with the support of the well-known Danse Macabre label. It then became quiet around Thomas musically, but he resurfaced in 2007 with his first harsh industrial solo album under the playingGOD moniker. He has then released ten albums as MR HILTER between 2011 and 2020 ranging from in ambient to industrial to dark and harsh electro styles. Now, he simply is MARTINÉ and releasing „My Mind : The Hand Grenade“ on the NADANNA label who broaden their spectrum towards a bit darker and harsher dark electro/EBM sound while still being approachable and melodic. High quality dark electro with moody atmospheres and lyrics with absolutely no fun to be found, or Hurtbeat if Thomas would be asked for a defining word, for fans of X-Marks The Pedwalk, Front Line Assembly, haujobb. and the likes. The follow-up album to "My Mind : The Hand Grenade" is already in progress and will be called "Nichts Währt Ewig".
